IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SOLO AND ENSEMBLE:


  • The deadline for Solo application forms and monies has PASSED.  The date was Monday December 5th 2011.

  • All title information may be found using the links on this page.

  • Any piece performed that is below grade level 3 will receive COMMENTS ONLY.

  • To qualify and perform at the state music performance assessment, students must receive a rating of SUPERIOR on a GRADE V OR HIGHER solo or ensemble piece at the district level.

  • Making arrangements for an accompanist is NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BAND DEPARTMENT.

  • F.B.A District Solo & Ensemble Festival is Friday, February 3rd and  Saturday February 4th 2012 at Lincoln Park Academy High School.   

  • Students will be informed of the location and their performance time after registration is complete.

  • The cost per member for participation in each event is $ 10.00.

  • Mandatory attire for instrumentalists is concert black attire.

  • IF YOU WISH TO CHANGE YOUR TITLE YOU MUST SUBMIT A TITLE CHANGE FORM BY: JANUARY 20TH 2012
